さて、この度JCCI では、標記の通り Japanese University Graduates Association of Singapore（JUGAS：シンガポール留日大学卒業生協会*）と、メンバー同士の交流促進及び意見交換の場を設けることを目的にネットワーキングイベントを開催することとなりました。
ポストコロナの新しい生活様式がシンガポール及び世界各国で広まる中、持続可能な生活やグリーン経済などは、以前より、さらに重要になることが予想されます。JUGASとJCCI では、サステイナビリティに対しての認識を高めて頂くために、「シンガポールのサステナビリティの展望」をトピックとして、取り上げることといたしました。
講演会では、シンガポール環境水資源省及び産業界から、それぞれ講師をお迎えし、気候変動への取り組み及びネットゼロの未来を実現するというシンガポールのコミットメント、そして
サステイナビリティがビジネスにどう影響するかについてのご講演を頂く予定です。大変貴重な機会となりますので、ぜひ皆様ご調整の上、ご参加頂けますと幸甚です。
*JUGASは、日本で高等教育を受けたことがある、シンガポール国内在住のメンバーのための同窓会組織として、1970年に設立されました。
As part of annual engagement with the Japanese business community in Singapore, JUGAS and JCCI will be co-organising a networking event on 23 September 2022.
This event aims to provide a platform for members of JUGAS and JCCI to foster relationships and exchange on business and professional views.
As Singapore and the rest of the world move forward towards the new norm of living in post COVID, development in Sustainable Living and Green Economy etc. would become
more important than before. As such, we have chosen the theme of “Sustainability Landscape in Singapore” for our event, to raise awareness of Singapore’s Sustainability agenda amongst
the members of JUGAS and JCCI.
The event will feature sharing by representatives from both Government and Industry on Singapore’s commitment towards achieving a net-zero future through tackling climate change
and ambition in net-zero emissions and how Sustainability initiatives would impact businesses.
